Here is some real cool "surf rock" from 1962. Dick Dale went to No. 1 with this in the U.S.
Surf rock itself was doing great in the U.S. until the British invasion pretty much knocked out most of it in 64.
I first heard this on Pandora on my "Duane Eddy station" and knew I had to find a YouTube video of it to put on here. It is called Misirlou and I just love the horns in the middle of this.
